A security guard at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv has contracted measles, sparking concern among the medical community and the public. The incident occurred despite the guard's presence at the entrance of Neonatal Ward A being limited to just half an hour on both Saturday and Sunday. During his shift, the guard checked the bracelets of babies and mothers as they exited the ward. The Health Ministry and the Tel Aviv District Health Bureau have taken swift action, contacting the families of newborns to offer them preventive treatment. Ichilov Hospital has assured the public that the exposure level is considered low due to the guard's use of a mask and his stationing outside the nursery. However, as a precautionary measure, the hospital is ensuring that families and babies receive necessary treatment and preventive vaccinations.
