Night-time closures on the A329(M) Bracknell-Reading and M4 slip road for essential maintenance and litter removal
The A329(M) Bracknell-Reading route and its M4 slip road will be temporarily closed overnight for essential maintenance and litter removal. This includes a stretch of the A329(M) between Coppid Beech and the M4 junction 10 slip road, which will be shut from 20:00 on Sunday until 06:00 on Monday. During this time, a litter pick will be conducted.
Following this, National Highways will carry out safety barrier repairs on the slip road from the A329(M) Reading-bound onto the M4 westbound towards Wales. This section will be closed from 21:00 on Monday until 06:00 on Tuesday.
Wokingham Borough Council advises that during these closures, traffic will be diverted onto the North Wokingham Distributor Road, following the A329 Reading Road to the Showcase roundabout. This diversion is in place to ensure minimal disruption to commuters and to facilitate the necessary maintenance and cleaning operations.
